Christmas Pud Tutorial

Yes, I've been playing with my punches again!! This time I have come up with something suitable for Christmas, a Christmas pudding.
So punches at the ready, here goes the tutorial!

You need a 1 3/8" circle punch, scallop circle punch, oval punch and 1/4" circle punch, Close to Cocoa ink pad, sponge dauber, Close to Cocoa, Real Red and Basic Black markers. Don't forget the glue!

Punch a large circle out of Close to Cocoa and Very Vanilla card stock, an oval from Going Gray card and 3 1/4" circles from Real Red card.

Use the sponge dauber to lift ink from the ink pad and gently sponge the edges of the brown circle.

Use the markers to add dots of varying sizes to represent the fruit in the pudding.

The using the scallop circle punch and the Very Vanilla circle, cut the custard/sauce for your pud. Position the circle in the punch as shown above.

This should be the result.

Time to assemble the pud. Stick the custard/sauce on to the top of the pudding. Then add the cherries. I stuck the first 2 on with glue, then stuck the 3rd on with a pieces of dimentional foam. Then stick your pud onto the plate ready to serve!

I think I'm going to be making a few of these to decorate Christmas gifts for the fair I'm doing in November.
Hopefully I shall show you one tomorrow!
