Thank you!

I made these two cards yesterday to sat thank you to Catherine and Donna (my sister and Jonathan's sister in law) for looking after Ben while Samuel and I were at the hospital.

I've used my favourite Tree for all Seasons stamp set. It's so simple to use as there is very little colouring needed and it's perfect for so many occasions.

The colour combination is Certainly Celery, Bashful Blue and Close to Cocoa. I coloured the images using my Stampin'Up markers and added some Certainly Celery ribbon (but I ran out of wide ribbon and had to use narrow on the second card!!).

All of these items are avaliable to order through me. If you manage to order before the end of the month and spend £45 you can earn a FREE stamp set.

Little Chef

"Big cook, Little cook welcome to our cafe!" Sorry, I've obviously spent too much time watching Cbeebies with the boys!
I made this card for one of my regular customers, for his brothers birthday. This card was perfect as just a few days before his brother had phoned for a recipe!!

The spotty paper is from one of my DCWV mat stacks, the card stock is Stampin'Up. I coloured the Sugar Nellie image using my water colour pencils and water brush.

I just wanted to say thank you to everyone who has sent good wishes and left messages for my son Samuel. His opperation yesterday went really well and the doctors and nurses were very pleased with the speed of his recovery. He now has to spend the week at home to avoid infection. Maybe I'll get him making some cards!!

Flutterby butterfly!

Jonathan asked me to make a birthday card for one of his work collegues, Stella, who's birthday is today.
I don't usually like butterflies on cards as they tend to look twee! But this butterfly is very modern so I decided to give it a go.
I have used my favourite sweet always papers again and I stamped the butterfly in close to cocoa, the chocolate chip was too dark, but I think this works!

Don't forget you have til 7pm tonight to try and win my blog candy.

Oh and there is only one week left to take advantage of the FREE stamp sets avaliable from the Sale-a-bration brochure. After that they will no longer be avaliable.
If you want to place and order please email me pitts@blueyonder.co.uk

Another Blog Award!

Thanks to Steph, my Stampin'Up sister, for this lovely blog award!
Sorry I have no cards today. We have had a very hectic week with Jonathan being in his panto (hopefully I'll post some pictures for you tomorrow). Hopefully things can get back to normal, although Samuel is going into hospital on Tuesday to have his adenoids removed, so he will be off school for at least a week and very grumpy!!!
I'll be back tomorrow with a few cards.

It's half term!!

I have a whole week of the kids at home. Today the boys have done some baking and are high on icing and sprinkles!!
I hoping to get them doing some stamping tomorrow, you never know I may have a budding card maker on my hands.

Jonathan is busy this week with his pano, it's performance week and I think that whilst he is enjoying it, it is also becoming a hastle! That's why I have no pics for you as he has taken the camera to take photo's of everyone in costume. I hope someone takes one of him!

So while he is out tonight it's my aim to sit and make some cards to show you! I still have several stamp sets that I haven't really used and I have some new goodies coming tomorrow!!

Don't forget that for the rest of the month I still have my FREE POSTAGE OFFER running. No matter how big or small the order you don't pay the postage! And there is still chance to earn a FREE stamp set from the Sale-a-bration when you spend just £45!

Rock 'n' Roll!

I made this card a few weeks ago for a special 13 year old disabled boy. His Dad plays the guitar in our worship band and he plays for his son at home, so a rock 'n' roll sugar nellie seemed perfect. Buttons and ribbon add texture for him to feel.

Blog award!

This is my first ever blog award! I am so chuffed! It comes from Steph one of my Stampin'Up sisters. She's a regular visitor here and leaves lovely comments. Thanks for the award Steph.

I just wanted to say a big thanks to all those who came to my first card class last night. We all had a lovely time making our valentines gifts and thankfully the snow didn't amount to much!! All I need to do now is plan the next one!

For Someone Special!

Weather permiting my Valentines card class is this evening, but just like last week more snow is forcast for this evening!!!
So just in case we have to cancel I thought I would show you what I have planned. Sadly the cupcakes won't be on offer this evening, I made them for last week and as we had to cancel Jonathan took them into work so that we didn't eat them all!!
You never know I may make some more for this evening.

The gift bag a made from an ordinary envelope with a topper and stamped decoration. So easy to make and so effective.
Again I have used my favourite Sweet Always papers. The chocolate brown and pink is a perfect mix for a valentines card and gift for a bloke. And perfect with the chocs that are hidden in the gift bag.

Don't forget there is still free postage til the end of the month.

Some Bunny!

Here's a card to cheer us all up!!
I'm really fed up with all this snow! The school run is becoming silly, we have to leave the house just after 8am to do a journey that takes 5 minutes!!
So I thought that I would show you a card that might help cheer us all up and look forward to Spring and Easter. This cute bunny is one of a set I bought a while ago that I just haven't used that much.
I coloured the bunny with my Stampin'Up markers and I have used the Sweet Always papers, which I have to say are one of my favourite collections.
DON'T FORGET FREE POSTAGE ON ALL ORDERS FOR FEBRUARY ONLY!!
