Spread the Love!

In an amongst all the busy hectic stuff I've made 65 bookmarks
for the church youth group Electrify to use at the meeting they lead just before
Valentines day.

I kept them simple and used the Stampin'Up heart punches
and a heart stamp from the Simply Said stamp set to decorate the top of the
bookmark.

They used the bookmarks to spread the love!!!
They seemed to be appreciated by everyone who took one
along with the yummy heart chocs!

Well the boys have been kitted out with new glasses, and very smart they look too,
but today was my turn!!!
All this reading is starting to take it's toll on my eyes and I was told today
that my muscles in my eyes are getting weaker.
I'll show you my specs when I pick them up next week.

Valentines Bliss

Well Valentines has passed for another year (did you get spoilt?).
So I thought I ought to show you the card I made for Jonathan.
I lacked inspiration this year until I started playing around with these
 yummy vintage papers.

I added some hearts from the Simply Said stamp set and used my heart punches.
Ruffled ribbon for some texture and the Bliss stamp from my free
Stampin'Up stamp set.

Well I have a busy week, I have already sorted Ben with his new glasses,
I've been into school for stay and play, I have almost finished my first essay
on womens ministry and we have several meetings this week for our officership
application!!
Plus at some point I have to fit in all the usual stuff!

Best crack on with it.

Believe Again

 Hello!
Long time no see!
Here are some more cards that I made at Julies Jems day
using the Just Believe stamp set.

I've spent some time this week doing all sorts of stuff including
sorting out my craft space.
I've loads of things I had forgotten I had.
So I've started using them.
You'll see the results this week.

Enjoy the rest of your weekend

Cupcake Crazy!!

 Well, not quite cupcake crazy!!
This is the cupcake that Julie gave us all at the Jems all day
training, and it was very yummy!!! (didn't do the diet any good!!)

And look at the cute matching little bag we made.
I think I shall make some more of these for gift bags.
They are the perfect size to hold some of the miniture toiletries from
 Boots or The Body Shop.

Here's a close up of the lovely cupcake just to tempt you all!!!

I have loads of crafty things to do this week including a
65 bookmarks to make for church, several birthday cards to make,
and I need to make a start on Samuel's birthday invitations.
I also need to find time to finish hubby's valentines card.

So hopefully I'll have loads to show you!!

Just Believe!

Good morning!
Here is the first of my posts to show you what I got up to on Saturday
when I spent the day with Julie and her Jems!
We had a fab day of craft and chat.

I love this card, the colours are fab!!
Crumb Cake, Early Esspresso, Old Olive and Melon Mambo.

Both cards were made using the very lovely Just Believe stamp set
from Stampin'Up.

I had a lovely day with the Jems catching up and saying farewell
to my team mates. Not that they will get rid of me completely ; )

I'll be back tomorrow to share some more pics with you.

Twinkle Twinkle!

 Hello!

I've a card to show you today.
It's the card I made for the dedication of our friends latest addition.
The image is from a stamp I have had for ages, but it's very cute!
I've used muted blues and browns for this card, great for baby cards.

I've added pearls to add some glamour and a small amount of glitter
to the stars on the sentiment.

I have loads of cards to make over the next few days on top of
everything I need to get done!!!
Best get on as I need to get my craft bag ready for tomorrow's trip down the road to
see Julie and the lovely Jems for the last time :(
I'll fill you in on what we get up to on Monday.

Hold My Hand

I have another Bible study journal page to show you.
I've used a picture of Samuel's tiny hand taken shortly after he was born.
I can't believe he was so small!

I've kept this page nice and simple as the focus is the picture
and the Bible verse.
For those of you that are interested the bible verse I've used is
Psalm 37 v 23 & 24.

I'm having a busy week.
We are getting closer to a result on the planning permission for our church cafe,
so I spent the day yesterday at a local supplier to the catering trade
talking all things cafe, from fancy coffee machines, cups and teaspoons to display counters
and milk jugs!!
I am in the process of writing a VERY long shopping list!!

I'll be back tomorrow with something else crafty.
