Hip Hip Hooray!

Hope you're enjoying your bank holiday weekend.
We are spending some time as a family for Jonathan's birthday
and before the kids go back to school.

I've just got time to show you this card I made
for the daughter of our officers at church who passed
her GCSE's with flying colours!

I've used the Circle of Frienship stamp set and have layered
the sentiment with 3D foam after using the punches.
I love the fact that SU punches layer so nicely together.

The flowers in the centre are from the Sunny Day Simply Scrappin'Kit.
Again I've layered them using some 3D foam.
The background is created using the Dot to Dot stamp
an white craft ink.

And of course I had to add some dotty ribbon to it too!!!

Enjoy your weekend

Another Page....

....from the holiday album!
Here is another page made at my scrapbook
evenings.

I love this picture of the boys trying to push back the
Old Crooked House of Windsor!

The page is made using the bright and colourful
Sunny Day Simply Scrappin'Kit.
We've also been using a selection of punches and stamp sets
from the catalogue too!

Right I'm off to get sewing name labels into 2
rather large piles of school uniform!!!

Wedding Set

Some of you may have seen the lovely wedding set that
Julie made using the Mr & Mrs stamp set.

Well we have a wedding to go to today so I've used
Julie's wonderful tutorial to make a similar set
using the Vintage Vogue set, as I don't have the Mr & Mrs
stamp set.
I have changed the design slightly to fit with the stash that
I have.

Here is the box for the card.
I've used the Bride luxury papers and Chocolate Chip.
The card used to make the box is the packageing card
from the Stampin'Up 12x12 paper packs.

Here is the front of the box.

This is the gift card I made to go inside the box as well
as the greeting card.

And here is the card.
The sentiment on the front is from the Special Blessings
stamp set, the swirls in the corners are stamped using the
Vintage Vogue set.
The flowers are are stamped using the fab rock and roll technique
with Chocolate chip and Close to Cocoa and are layered up
using dimentionals.
There is a bit of bling too with a rhinestone brad in
the centre.

To buy the tutorial pop over to Julie's blog.

I'm having a girly weekend with my sister so I'll be back on
Monday!

Sunny Scrappin' Page 1

So here is the first of page to go in our
holiday scrapbook album.

The background is a 6x6 piece of Pumkin Pie
textured cardstock to which I have added some of the sticky
decorative strips from the Sunny Day Simply Scrappin'
kit and a scallop circle cut using my punch from
Old Olive cardstock.

I've added a butterfly to the centre, stamped in
Pink Passion, perfect for summer!

The weather is a bit naff today so we are staying at
home to catch up on some jobs!
Yesterday we were very productive and tidyed the
toy cupboard, we were meant to get rid of bits
they have grown out of but it doesn't feel like we
got rid of much!!!
That's what you get for doing it with the kids.
Oh well, it's another thing crossed off the To Do list!

Creating Memories

You'll have to get used to seeing several scrapbook pages over
the next few weeks as I create my holiday album at the
scrapping classes I'm running.

We started off by decorating our albums.

I used the All in the Family, Just Perfect Alphabet and
Neighbour (retired) stamp sets to stamp directly
onto my linen post bound album.

I added ribbon down the side with a cute tag
with a sticker embelishment from the
Sunny Day Simply Scrappin' kit,
which we are using to create our sunny summer albums with!

Pop back tomorrow to see the first 6x6 page!

Desk Tidy

As I have tidied my desk I thought I good to use this cute
desk box to keep the cards I've made nice and tidy.

It's a really simple box to make and looks great when decorated.

I've used the Sweet Pea felt again and the colours Pretty in Pink,
Old Olive, Rose Red, and Pumkin Pie.
Nice!

Felt Buttons

Hello!
I've another card to show you today, and yes you can guess
the stamp set I used can't you???

Although there is not as much stamping on this one as the last!

I've used the Rose Red designer paper, Pretty in Pink card with a scallop
edge that I've added holes to using my cropodile.
The buttons are felt buttons from the Sweet Pea felt pack.
I love using it as it adds great texture to a project.

I'll be back soon with another project to show
you.

Vintage Flowers

At last a post with some craft!
I'm hoping that over these next few weeks I can get back on
top of things craft wise, particularly as I have now
sorted and tidied out my craft desk and I can now find things again!!

This is card I made a few weeks ago.

And yes it uses the Vintage Vogue set again!!
The colours used are Pretty in Pink, Rose Red, Old Olive
and Pumpkin Pie.
The flower brads finish of the flowers nicely.
