The 2 little people were not intended to be Sam and Ben but they do kinda look like them!!

And of course I had to add a vital piece of camping equipment, wellies!!!

I'll be back tomorrow with some exciting news for all SU lovers!!

Animal Magic!!

It was my Animal Magic card class last night using the Wild About You stamp set. My ladies had a fab time making this bird house gift box and a card.

Some of the ladies wanted these for baby cards and a gift so I kept to pastel colours so we used the Tea Party papers from the mini catalogue, which work perfectly with this stamp set.

The flowers are a mix of card and vellum, made using the SU flower punch, brads and dimensionals to lift them off the card slighly.
And then there is the gift box, made using matching card and paper and decorated with the flower and bird from the stamp set.
Well yet another busy weekend lies ahead. The boys have football saturday morning and then my parents are coming to stay with us for the weekend. Monday we are celebrating Jonathan's birthday (which is actually Tuesday) with a get together with friends and family, so I have a cake to make!!
Hopefully I'll have some pics to show you of the cake and birthday boy!
Enjoy your weekend.

Teddy Bear, Teddy Bear!

I made this card before we went away, for a friend who was having her daughter baptised at church.
I had found the card blank and added the paper and flowers, but I hadn't got any further with it, I think it ended up sat on my desk for nearly a week.

I was tidying up and found some teddy bear die cut bits I had forgotten about.
I think he looks cute holding onto the sentiment, which is from the Gods Blessings stamp set, perfect for the occasion.

Here is a close up of the teddy. I used my SU markers to draw on the detail then I used my chalks to add some colour to his cheeks and ears. Very quick and easy to do!!

Well the weather todays is rubbish!!! I have some jobs to catch up on including a mountain of ironing so it looks like we will be staying at home today. Hopefully I can get the boys to help out!!
I also have some bits of card and paper to cut out ready for my card class tomorrow night.
Busy, busy.

Birthday Balloons!

I have loads of birthday cards to make at the moment, including some special ones! So I've been playing about with my All in the Family stamps again.
This is just one of the results!
Not bad to say it was rushed, but it's not my best! Oh well I'll keep trying and soon I'll get back into it! Hopefully I'll get there when the boys have gone back to school.
Everything I used to make the card is from Stampin'Up except for the jems in the flower centres, they were a pound shop bargain!! Can you guess how much they cost??
Well we have been to town today and bought school uniform, school shoes and pumps and Jonathan's birthday presents. Now I need to get the boys to try it all on and pose for the obligatory photo to send to the Grandparents. Then I need to put labels in everything.
Loads to do must get on!!

We're Home!!!

Yes we are back!
We had a lovely break at Haven in Mablethorpe, camping in our NEW tent!! It was fab. The weather was kind to us, lovely and warm and sunny.
The boys were entertained with loads of things to do all day, and of course wanted to do everything so they are shattered!!

As usual there is now all the washing etc to do now we are back and of course I have to take the boys school uniform shopping this week too!!! Oh joy!!!

I'll be back later with some pictures for you.

Notes, Notes, Notes!!

As my friends keep telling me, I'm a lover of lists and being organised and ALWAYS have a note book on the go with a list of things to do!!
Most of my books are decorated like this one!

Again I have used my fav colour combination and the All in the Family stamp set. The words are just randomly stamped using the Daily Flexible Phrases.
And to make it more girly I added plenty of prima flowers.

Hopefully I'll be back soon with a card and some picyures of the boys to show you.

Sweet Always Part 2

As part of our gift for my friends 30th I found some scrummy chocolates, berries covered in belgian white chocolate. Tasty!!
So using the Sweet Always papers I made a tag for the bag of chocs, and used my new ribbon from my ribbon bundle.

And of course I had to add more glitter!!

I love this colour combination, Choc Chip, So Saffron and Regal Rose.

Hopefully when you are reading this we will be enjoying our holiday to Haven in our new tent (even if it's wet there should be loads for the boys to do!!).
I'm hoping to get loads of photos of the boys while we are away so that I can start scrapping again!! It's been ages since I updates the boys scrapbook album.

Here's hoping for good weather!

Sweet Always Part 1

It's my friend's 30th birthday today so we are off to her party this afternoon, and of course when you go to a party you have to be polite and take a bottle.
Well I just couldn't pass up the chance to decorate the bottle.

It had to be girly and pink to match the wine in the bottle, so out came the Sweet Always papers from Stampin'Up. And you can't decorate a bottle without using the Cheers to You stamp set either. Even the cap!!!

It was a bit difficult finding somewhere with enough light to take these pictures as it has been very grey here this morning. So sadly they are not my best.

And of course I had to add plenty of glitter too!!
Right, I'm off to party. Enjoy your weekend!

Flower Girl

I managed to find a spare half hour yesterday to make a quick card.
I thought I ought to let my Magnolias out into the summer sun as they have been shut away for rather a long time!!

So I managed to put together this very quick 4x4 card using Sage Shadow card stock, Tea Party patterned papers and lots of flowers.

I coloured the image using my SU markers and used my white pen to add some highlights. The ribbon is Chocolate Chip (yummy) and I added the flowers centres using some perfect pearls and some SU Dazzling Diamonds glitter.

Another arty angle!!!

Well the weather seems to be getting better, which is a good job as we are spending most of the weekend outside!! We are meeting up with some friends on Friday night, then Saturday the boys have football in the morning then we have a friends birthday bbq in the afternoon.
I also need to find some time to make a 30th birthday card and a baptism card for the weekend!

Looks like we will be busy again!!

Spring Bunch!

As you can probably tell from these pics I recieved my FREE ribbon bundle from Stampin'Up today. Oh they are sooooooo yummy!!
So, inspired by the colour combination of ribbons in my little hand, I made this card this afternoon using Certainly Celery and So Saffron.

All the items used are from Stampin'Up except for the perfect pearls used on the cardstock. And of course that ribbon just finishes it off so nicely!!

So don't forget, if you want to get your little hands on some of this yummy ribbon, all you need to do is spend £45 on Stampin'Up goodies (before P&P) and yours will be winging it's way to you.

Here's the arty angle!
Busy week here this week as we are getting ready for another break this time in our new tent, hopefully with a bit more sun this time (I live in hope).

Window on the world!

I had a play about last night with these stamped images that one of my fellow demonstrators sent to me.
I don't have this set (Window Dressing -hostess set) but it is so versatile.

This card reminds me of the times I used to sit in my window as a girl just watching the world go by.
The background paper is from the Tea and Crumpets paper set and the card stock is Sage Shadow, I've not used this colour before and decided it was time to give it a go.
I used my Martha Stewart edge punch and distressed the edge using my Close to Cocoa ink pad.
The flowers were made using my SU flower punch.
Well it's another busy weekend in the Pitts house. The boys are at football at as I type then we have the trailer to sort out ready for our next holiday. The Sunday our worship band His2Own are leading the whole service for the first time, normally we only do a couple of songs.
I will be interesting to see how we get on!!

Fruity Gifts

I made this lovely fruity gift set a while ago but I don't think I ever got round to showing it!
I used up some of the left over bits from making all those teachers gifts last month, shame to see them go to waste.
Well most of my blog changes are in place now, I hope you like the new look!
Hopefully I can get some crafting done now inbetween entertaining children.
