I've Been Tagged!!

I've been tagged by Sarah B my SU sister, thanks! So here is the fourth photo from my fourth photo folder.
These are my lovely boys Samuel (right) who is now 5yrs and Ben (left) who is 3yrs. This was taken at Thomas Land at Drayton Manor Park in September. The boys, both being mad Thomas fans had a ball, riding on all the characters from their favourite stories.

I now tag Elaine, Julie, Jeannette and Siobhan.

Jems Challenge

So as promised here is the latest Jems Challenge card! Thanks to Jeannette for the lovely kit. I really like these bees, so cute and cheeky!!
The only thing I added to the card that wasn't in the kit is the glitter on the bees wings.

Now unlike me I left this til the last minute. I made most of the card yesterday and added the finishing touches today!!!!! But I don't think I've done too bad, so maybe I work better under pressure.
I'm looking forward to the next Jems Challenge!

Easter Card

This is my first attempt at an Easter card. I'm still not sure if I like it. I used my new Magnolia cross stamp and the sentiment is from SU. I coloured the cross using my SU markers and the paper is from the new Tea Party papers from the SU mini catalogue. The top corner was looking a little empty so I added the flowers.

Sorry for such a short post, but I'll be back later this evening with another card from the Jems Challenge, my SU family.
See you later!

Happy Mothers Day

Well I have finally got round to playing with my goodies from the new mini catalogue, and I came up with this.

For this card I used the Fresh Cuts stamp set to stamp the background inside one of the Fresh Cut Notes using my Certainly Celery ink pad. I then glued the note shut to create my image/topper for my card. The background on the card is Certainly Celery card stock. The little flower in the centre is stamped using pretty in pink with matching ribbon down the side.
I added a gem for a bit of extra sparkle and used my happy mothers day stamp from the occasional greetings set.

I used the Fresh Cut background stamp again for this card and stamped it using Barely Banana. The torn paper and card stock are both Bashful Blue and I added some Very Vanilla ribbon and some gems to liven it up a bit.

Don't forget that if you place your pre-order from the mini catalogue with me before he end of March I'll enter you into a prize draw to win a limited edition stamp set.

So click on the link/picture on my side bar to browse the catalogue then email your order to pitts@blueyonder.co.uk

Another Blog Award!!

While is was doing my usual blog hop this morning I found that one of my SU sisters had given me this lovely award!

Thank you Sarah B!!

The problem I have is who to pass it on to as she has already given it to most of the fab people I would!

Anyway, today is Samuel's 5th birthday, so happy birthday little man! I am busy preparing for his birthday tea and Jonathan's return from his retreat. Hopefully I'll be back later with a card and maybe and Easter treat!!

Little blue cat!

Samuel's birthday party was a success! So I have spent the morning making these mini 3x3 thank you cards for all his friends.

I finally had chance to get my new Oval All stamp set and oval punches (from the new mini catalogue) out and have a play! I stamped the thank you in Certainly Celery and layered it onto a scallop of Apricot Appeal.

And of course cat's love to chase butterflies, so I just had to add this cute cat from the All in the Family stamp set. He just had to be coloured in using Bashful Blue, Samuel's favourite colour!!

Another Card!

Well today I was hoping to show you my goodies from the new mini catalogue, but the DHL man turned up while I was doing the school run this morning! So I will have to wait til tomorrow to tempt you all.
So until then I have another card. This is another anniversary card using one of my sale-a-bration sets which is perfect for spring.

The colours I used are Rose Red, Old Olive and So Saffron, which I have to say work quite well. I added some Very Vanilla ribbon to pretty it up abit.

All of the items I used are from Stampin'Up, so if you want to get your hands on them you can place your order with me.

So hopefully I'll be back tomorrow with some lovely new items to show you.

Spring is in the air!

We were in the Lake District at the weekend and it certainly felt like Spring was upon us. Snowdrops and crocus popping out of the ground and lots of spring lambs bounding about in the fields.

So here is an anniversary card I made for another of my regular customers, which certainly has a spring feel to it.

I love these colours too, Certainly Celery, Apricot Appeal, Bashful Blue and a touch of Pretty in Pink.

I hope this brightens everyones day.

First Team Challenge!

The Jems (my lovely Stampin'Up family) have started our own card challenge. The first kit was put together by my SU sister Steph. A lovely kit with loads of lovely paper, buttons, lace and ribbon to get creative with.
Thanks Steph, I loved using this kit and it helped to get my creative juices flowing.

So this is the result!!!

The photo isn't the best, thats what you get for leaving it til night and taking it indoors in poor light!! Never mind.
Not had the best day today, so I'm hoping for a good weekend. I'll be back on Monday with some more cards.

Boys, boys, boys!!

Well we have quite a few birthdays coming up over the next few weeks, most of them boys, so I've been trying to come up with some suitable cards.
This is one of my favourite Sugar Nellie stamps. He is very cute and I love his tractor.
I coloured him in using my watercolour pencils and water brush and used SU card stock and ribbon. The stripe paper was a scrap from somewhere!!
This week I need to get my thinking cap on and organise the games and bits for Samuel's 5th birthday party, I need to sort a few more things for my party too.

New Mini Catalogue!!

This is very exciting!!! I have a copy of the NEW Mini Catalogue in my hands!
I have put a link in my side bar, just click on the picture and it will take you to the new catalogue!
You have plenty of time to drool over all the lovely new stamp sets and accessories and plenty of time to book your workshop with me, so that you and all your friends can play with some of these lovely new goodies!!!

You can't place an order from the mini until 1st April, so plenty of time to save some pennies for those must have items!!

Hopefully in about 2 weeks time I should have some new samples to show you that I will have made with some items from the mini.
I'll also be organising another card class too, so keep checking back for more info.
