Teachers Gift

We have had a very busy week but I have managed to find the time to make a gift bag for Samuel to give to his teacher for Christmas. It's full of lovely pamper goodies. I hope she likes it.
I used my new Stampin'Up stash to make it. I love these colours!
I still have a few last minute cards to make and some more invites for our New year party. Busy, busy, busy!

Christmas Planner

How organised are you? Are you ready for Christmas?

I have finished buying pressies and I have written most of the cards ready to post at the end of the week, so all I have left to sort is the food.

I have a habit of writing lots of lists but sometimes tend to lose them!! So I have made this Christmas organiser.

There is space for your cards, gift, food and things to do lists. Perfect for planning your Christmas.
The planner was made using materials avaliable from the Stampin'Up catalogue. To place your order contact me by email.
Have fun planning your Christmas!

Sorry!!

Sorry I have no crafts to show today. What with the bad weather and now my two boys are ill, I haven't had the chance.
Samuel has the day off school yesterday as we had had several inches of snow. We made the most of it and made a snowman!

Last night we went to the village Christmas light switch on, the boys saw Santa and there photo taken with him (hopefully I'll be able to show you later!) and we sung carols round the Christmas tree.

Hopefully things will be back to normal next week.

Gift Tags

I thought I would share with you the Christmas gift tags I made over the weekend for one of my customers at church.
All of them were made using a selection of stamps card stock and ribbons from the Stampin'Up catalogue. They are so easy and quick to make and add that lovely personal touch to any gift.
Why not have go!
Stuck for ideas? Then have a flick through the catalogue, just click on the picture on the right of this blog.
Don't forget to order soon to make sure you get your gifts in time for Christmas!

Christmas Card

I've found that every year it's getting harder and harder to find what I call "decent" religious Christmas cards, so when I found these stamps I thought they would be perfect for Christmas.
As the "Big" day is fast approaching I thought I ought to finish them off so I can get writting them and get them posted.

I don't normally use lots of blue when making cards. I think that having two boys I have tried to get my pink fix where I can, but this works well with different shades of blue. The card base is embossed with snowflakes that I have dusted over with some chalks. The verse is stamped and heat embossed with a glitter dust and the manger is stamped using a pearlesent ink.

The verse reads:
The Legend of the Snowflake
Long ago a glittery star lead the way to a Holy Child.....
and today it is said that snowflakes are tiny pieces of that very star,
sent to lead our hearts anew to Jesus, Light of the World.

Look What I Got!

I received this lovely card in the post this morning from my friend and upline Julie as a thank you for joining her Stampin'Up team.
Julie makes lovely cards and for this one she used the Rose is a Rose set from the SU catalogue.
The colours are lovely, sadly my photo doesn't do it justice!

Thanks Julie the cards is lovely and will have pride of place on my craft desk.

It's Samuel's show and tell at school today and he has taken his gift tags that he made with me at the fair on Saturday. He is very proud of them!
Well I've done the supermarket shop this morning and picked up some miniture gifts for Samuel to give his teacher for Christmas. So now I'm off to find a design for a gift box to make. Hopefully I'll show you my finished gift tomorrow.

Stampin' Up Cards

Well I have been busy today getting my sample boards ready for the Christmas Fair on Saturday. These are the cards I made this morning. I think my favourite is the small pink one with the cake, it's so simple but very effective.

I used the Seeing Spots set for the background and the cake from the Fun & Fast Notes set, I coloured the cake with my SU markers and used Pumkin Pie and Pixie Pink card stock.

Now all I need to do is decide on my layout on my display boards, but I keep moving them all round and changing my mind!!

My First ......

...... Stampin'Up cards.

Last night I managed to make my first 2 sample cards using all my lovely new goodies from SU.

And I have to say I am pleased with the results!

I used Old Olive and Pumkin Pie for the larger card and Old Olive, Chocolate Chip and Ruby Red for the notelet. The pattern on both cards was made using my Stampin' Around Whimsy wheel which I love!

I'm hoping I can make some more today but my youngest Ben is not well so it may not happen!!

5th Birthday Card

Today Samuel is going to his friends birthday party after school so I have wrapped a pressie and made this card using one of my new Magnolia stamps. I coloured it in using my SU markers and I have used paper from Crate Paper.
My Stampin'Up demonstrator kit has arrived this lunch time, so I'm looking forward to being able to sit and have a play with all the lovely new stamp sets.

This is my very first post on my Blog!!! I'm trying to get to grips with all this so please be patient with me.

I'm going to use my blog to show people my crafts and how my faith is shown in my craft. Maybe it will inspire someone else to the same.
